Please NOTE: At the Script Development Meeting on October 8th the members adopted a motion to change the approach to fashioning a new script, deciding instead to return to the initial Newcomer Script and begin editing. No one was opposed to this new direction. At the same time, no one was interested in shepherding the new process. The development of a new script will likely be delayed.
Motion 26-7 stated, “The ad hoc committee proposes that new opening and closing scripts be developed and adopted to introduce both the Newcomer session and the after-meeting fellowship space. We recommend that these scripts make clear the safety rules and guidelines for the after-meeting fellowship space, particularly addressing how timed shares and cross talk rules differ from the main SMR meeting.”
