Dear Fellow SMR Members,
Unique to the world of 12-Step recovery programs, the World Service Organization of ACA annually invites groups to offer proposals aimed at the improvement of all aspects of the fellowship that touch on the organization, worldwide.
Proposals are to be the product of a group conscience, as opposed to the ideas of an individual member. The submission states an ‘issue’ and provides supportive reasoning. This is to be communicated in no more than 300 words and must be submitted by October 31st. This WSO site offers more information.
Inspired to participate, members of our group were invited to help fashion a proposal. Here you will find the final product, created, happily, in a back and forth process that allowed for the distillation of positive ideas.
In a nutshell, we are asking for support for online meetings.
And here is your opportunity… Please read through the proposal. While we do not have much time to make alterations, we would still like to read your comments.
