After-meeting Ad hoc Committee Proceedings (Proposal – Subject 25-5)

At the July 20th SMR Business Meeting, an Ad hoc Committee was formed to look at the subject of the ‘After-meeting’, as addressed in the Proposal section of acamorning.org. [Subject 25-5]

from the minutes [SMR Business Meeting July 2025]:

… create an SMR Ad hoc committee to discuss the after-meeting challenges. Interest was expressed in being on the Committee by many in attendance. How will the committee be created?

Motion: Chris (Madison); 2nd Michael Mexico – That the Adhoc committee purpose be to collect all the comments from the online discussion; hold town halls and survey members as needed; create a final proposal for a group conscience vote.

Corrected Wording Revised: August Business Meeting

Chris (Madison): I make a motion that the ad hoc committee be charged with the responsibility to review all comments and proposals received to date, conduct , survey as needed and draft a Final proposal for Group Conscience vote.

Sue D (of the Swamp) was elected to be the contact person and will convene the first meeting. Announce formation of the Ad hoc Committee at our SMR meeting; invite participation. Sue in agreement – and will find assistance to make announcements, as needed.
