Issue:
I move that SMR Business be conducted in the Main Room instead of a Breakout Room. On a scheduled Business Meeting day, the after-meeting would be accommodated in a break-out room.
Background:
Positive features of conducting business in the main room:
- Possibly a broader group conscience, given more participation
- Focus on the importance of ‘service’ to keep the group healthy
- Generally occurs only once a month
- Importance of members participating and being informed

I support this idea.
Apologies (my note above asking for more clarity) … I didn’t see the bottom of this, and I also noticed that this proposal and 25-7 are similar. Pls see my feedback on Jim’s proposal. They speak to both.
Basically, having the business mtg on the 15th in the main room in place of the regular 7:30am SMR meeting.

Yes. The business meeting is the heart of service. The structure that supports our meeting and all our other activities was generated by group conscience at the monthly business meeting. Anything that keeps it front and center and gives the best opportunity for attendance is worthy of consideration.
